Edefors church

The first church in Edefors parish was consecrated in 1888 but was destroyed by a violent and unexplained fire in May 1918. It was a large church with seating for about 1,000 people. The new church was consecrated on Midsummer's Day 1928 and was considerably smaller than the first one; today it has about 300 seats. The architect was John Åkerlund from Stockholm and the builder was Uno Lindgren from Svartbäcken.
